U-17 J.League Selection to contest ABN Amro Future Cup
 

The J.League and Japan Football Association on Friday announced a squad of U-17 J.League academy players who will travel to Amsterdam later this month in order to participate in the AMB Amro Future Cup for a second straight year.

The tournament, which is hosted at Ajax’s Toekomst training facility, features you sides from eight countries. Japan will be grouped with Anderlecht (Belgium), Juventus (Italy), and Sevilla (Spain).

12 J.League academies are represented in the squad of 18 players, including four selections from Yokohama F. Marinos and two each from Kashiwa Reysol, Nagoya Grampus, and Kyoto Sanga.

In addition to a test against world-class youth competition, the camp will give players a chance to interact with foreign cultures as part of their personal development.
