Sagan Tosu have announced that midfielder Tokia Ikeda has joined Okinawa SV of the Japan Football League (JFL) on a development loan. The club also confirmed that defender Yuya Kuroki has joined FC Nobeoka AGATA of the Kyushu League on a development loan.
Following the announcement, both players commented:
Tokia Ikeda:
"To all the fans and supporters of Sagan Tosu, thank you for your support during my six months with the club. Although it was a frustrating period for me personally, I have learned so much over the past six and a half years since joining the club as a junior high school student, and I have grown both as a footballer and as a person. I sincerely hope Sagan Tosu achieve their goals of winning the J2 title and earning promotion to J1. I will continue working hard in my new environment so that I can return to Sagan Tosu as a stronger player."
Yuya Kuroki:
"I have decided to join FC Nobeoka AGATA on a development loan. During the past three and a half years since joining the Sagan Tosu youth academy, I have learned so much from the club and have grown both as a footballer and as a person. Although things did not work out as I had hoped after being promoted to the first team, I will continue working hard to improve and hope to return to Sagan Tosu as a better player. I hope you'll continue to support me."
