Júbilo Iwata defeated Shimizu S-Pulse 5-1 in a practice match on 26 July.
The match consisted of four 45-minute periods. Hiroto Uemura opened the scoring in the third minute of the opening period. Shion Inoue scored in the 18th and 40th minutes of the second period, while Naoya Koike also found the net in the 21st minute. João Victor completed the scoring in the 15th minute of the third period.
