Yokohama FC have announced that defender Katsuya Iwatake will serve as captain for the 2026/27 season. The club have also named midfielders Kota Yamada, Akiyuki Yokoyama and Leo Takae, along with forward Lukian and defender Hayato Sugita, as vice-captains.
Following the announcement, Iwatake commented:
"I have been appointed captain for this season, and I feel a great sense of responsibility and pride in being entrusted with the role at Yokohama FC. I want to lead the team not only through my words but also through my performances and attitude on the pitch. We will fight with determination as one team to achieve promotion to the J1. To all our fans and supporters, please continue to stand with us this season. Thank you for your support."
