FC Gifu have announced the signing of midfielder Shinri Kanamoto.
The 24-year-old from Tokyo most recently played for Hwaseong FC of Korea Republic in 2025.
Following the announcement, Kanemoto commented:
"Playing in the J.League has been my dream since I was a child, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to achieve that dream with FC Gifu. To help the club achieve its goal of promotion to J2, I will give everything I have and work hard every day. On the pitch, I will never give up and do everything I can for the team.
