Iwaki FC have announced that midfielder Ryunosuke Nakayama of Tokai University is set to join the club for the 2026/27 season. The club also announced that he has been registered as a JFA/J.League Special Designated Player for the 2026/27 season.
Following the announcement, Nakayama commented:
"I am delighted that Iwaki FC have shown faith in me. I want to repay that faith by continuing to prove myself. I will do everything I can to help the team achieve promotion to J1. I hope you'll support me."
