University of Tsukuba MF Shinoda and Meiji University MF Kuwahara Set to Join Fujieda MYFC in 2027

Fujieda MYFC have announced that University of Tsukuba midfielder Tsubasa Shinoda and Meiji University midfielder Rikuto Kuwahara will join the club in 2027.

Both players commented on their signings:

Shinoda:

"First of all, I'd like to thank my family for always supporting me, as well as everyone who has been part of my football journey. I'm also sincerely grateful to everyone at Fujieda MYFC for giving me this opportunity. I'm excited to play the game I love in Fujieda, a city with a proud football tradition. Just as I was inspired to dream as a child, I hope I can inspire others too. I'll give everything I have to repay the faith this club has shown in me and help Fujieda MYFC win matches and earn promotion to J1. To everyone connected with the club, thank you for your support."

Kuwahara:

"I'm incredibly happy to take the first step towards my childhood dream of becoming a professional footballer with a club that has big ambitions. I'll keep working hard every day with honesty, humility and determination, growing together with Fujieda MYFC as I strive to become a player who can represent Japan. I'm truly grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way — from Kyoto Nagaokakyo SS, where I discovered the joy of football, to the Gamba Osaka Academy, where I learned what it takes to be a professional, and Meiji University, where I've grown both as a player and as a person.

Above all, I want to thank my family from the bottom of my heart: my father, who trained with me every morning before work and always found time to come to my matches; my mother, who always made me delicious meals and was there to support me; and my sister, who always supported me without complaint, even when I was being selfish.
