RB Omiya Ardija have announced that forward Oriola Sunday will join Sydney FC of Australia on loan until 30 June 2027.
Sunday has been with Omiya since 2024 but has yet to make an appearance in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE this season.
Sunday commented through the club:
“I will join Sydney FC on loan for one year from the 2026/27 season. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank all the fans and supporters who have supported me, as well as everyone at the club. I am very grateful for this valuable opportunity to take on a new challenge. I will give my all every day to gain as much experience as possible in a new environment and continue to grow both as a player and as a person. On this new stage, I will also approach every match with a strong sense of responsibility as a representative of RB Omiya Ardija. I will work hard to return as a better player, and I hope I can count on your continued support.”
