Two Matchweek 3 fixtures in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE were played on 23 August.

Sagamihara hosted Kanazawa and secured a 2-1 victory, with Ren Sugimoto and Taira Maeda on target.

Kochi took the lead at home to Sanuki through Daichi Kobayashi in the 58th minute. Sanuki equalised in the 70th minute, but Genya Sekino struck the winner in the 90th minute to seal a 2-1 victory and give Kochi their first win of the season.
