Renofa Yamaguchi FC have announced that midfielder Hisatoshi Nishido will join Singapore side Young Lions FC on loan. The loan deal runs until 30 June 2027.
Nishido had been with Yamaguchi since 2025 and did not make an appearance in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE this season.
Nishido commented through the club:
“To everyone connected with Renofa Yamaguchi FC, it has been a while. I’m sorry it has taken me so long to share this news, but at the same time I’m happy to finally be able to make this announcement. I have joined Young Lions FC in Singapore’s SPL1.
“I joined Yamaguchi in August 2025 and spent about a year there until June 2026. I was surrounded by so many warm and welcoming people in Yamaguchi, and my time there is filled with wonderful memories. As the club aims to make an immediate return to J2 this season, I wanted to fight for Renofa Yamaguchi FC in the orange shirt myself, but that was not to be. I’ll be wishing for Renofa Yamaguchi FC to win every match from afar. I believe everyone in Yamaguchi will come together as one and achieve promotion to J2.”
