Kagoshima Edge Shiga to Go Provisionally Top! Sagamihara Hit Three as Okita Scores Hat-Trick [Summary: MEIJI YASUDA J3 Matchweek 6]

Five Matchweek 6 fixtures in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE were played on 13 September.

Kagoshima edged Shiga 2-1 away from home thanks to goals from Genki Egawa and Keito Kawamura. The win maintained their unbeaten start to the season and moved them provisionally top of the table, overtaking Ehime, who play on 14 September.

Sagamihara cruised to a 3-1 away victory over Matsumoto as Sora Okita scored a hat-trick. The win took them to 11 points and lifted them to third, while Matsumoto remain winless this season.

Ryukyu held on to the lead given to them by Kazuki Sota's 24th-minute goal to beat Sanuki 1-0. Nagano took the lead through Keito Nojima in the 45th minute but conceded an equaliser in the 73rd as they drew 1-1 with Tochigi SC.

Kochi took the lead at home to Kanazawa through Yoshihiro Shimoda in the sixth minute, but Ryu Kawakami equalised for the visitors in the 37th as the match ended 1-1.
