FC Osaka Cruise Past Fukushima to Maintain Unbeaten Start [Summary: MEIJI YASUDA J3 Matchweek 7]

Two Matchweek 7 fixtures in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE were played on 18 September.

FC Osaka took the lead at home to Fukushima through Rikuto Kubo in the 34th minute before Sho Sumida doubled their advantage two minutes later. Fukushima pulled one back in the 49th minute, but Toshiki Toya restored FC Osaka's two-goal lead in the 84th before Takahiro Kitsui added a fourth in stoppage time to seal a convincing 4-1 victory.

The win extended FC Osaka's unbeaten start to the season and lifted them provisionally to third.

Kumamoto and Matsumoto, meanwhile, played out a goalless draw, with neither side able to find a breakthrough.
