Matsumoto Yamaga F.C. have announced that defender Kento Watanabe of SANNO University will join the club in January 2027. The club also announced that he has been registered as a 2026/27 JFA/J.League Special Designated Player.
Watanabe, who is from Hokkaido, commented following the announcement:
