FC Gifu have announced the signing of forward Hiroto Asada from Yokohama F. Marinos on a development loan. The loan deal runs until 30 June 2027, and he will wear the No. 43 shirt.
Asada joined Yokohama FM in 2025 and did not make an appearance in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE this season.
Upon joining the club, Asada commented:

I felt strongly that this was a place where I could give everything for the team and continue to grow, and that was what convinced me to make the move. I’m really happy and excited to be joining a great club like FC Gifu. I’ll give everything I have to score goals, help the team get results and achieve our goal of promotion to J2.
