Kanazawa Gakuin University FW Nakagawa Set to Join Zweigen Kanazawa in 2027

Zweigen Kanazawa have announced that forward Go Nakagawa of Kanazawa Gakuin University will join the club for the 2026/27 season (January 2027).

Nakagawa, who is from Ishikawa Prefecture, previously played in the Zweigen Kanazawa academy.

Following the announcement, Nakagawa commented:

“I’m incredibly happy to be able to begin my professional career, a dream I’ve had since childhood, with a club in my home prefecture of Ishikawa. I’d like to thank my parents, who have always supported me and given me everything I needed growing up, the coaches who have helped me develop both as a person and as a footballer, the teammates who have been by my side through difficult times, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I’ll carry the responsibility that comes with wearing the Zweigen Kanazawa crest and work hard to contribute to the team as soon as possible. To everyone connected with Zweigen Kanazawa, thank you for your support.”
