FC Imabari have announced that goalkeeper Toru Takagiwa and midfielder Riki Sato have suffered injuries.
Takagiwa sustained the injury during training on 9 September and has been diagnosed with a ruptured right Achilles tendon. He underwent surgery on 11 September.
Sato sustained the injury during the J.League Yamazaki Biscuits Levain Cup First Round fixture against Zweigen Kanazawa on 2 September and has been diagnosed with a medial collateral ligament injury in his right knee.
