Giravanz Kitakyushu have announced that midfielder Takanari Endo has suffered an injury.
Endo sustained the injury during the J.League Yamazaki Biscuits Levain Cup First Round match against Iwaki FC on 2 September and has been diagnosed with multiple ligament injuries to his right knee. He underwent surgery at a hospital in Kitakyushu on 25 September and is expected to be sidelined for approximately eight months.
