Iwaki FC have announced that they have reached an agreement with defender Futa Takeno of Kamimura Gakuen High School.
Takeno is set to join the club in January 2027, with his contract running until 30 June 2031.
Following the announcement, Takeno commented:
“I’m delighted to be able to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a professional footballer with Iwaki FC. I have been able to continue playing football thanks to my family, who have always supported me, the coaches who have guided me, the teammates who have pushed me to improve, and everyone who has continued to cheer me on. I’m truly grateful to all of them. I’ll never forget the support I’ve received and will keep working hard every day to make the most of my strengths in getting forward and delivering crosses, and to become a player who can help the team win as soon as possible. Thank you for your support.”
