Omiya Stay Unbeaten with 3-1 Win; Tosu and Kofu Return to Winning Ways [Summary: MEIJI YASUDA J2 Matchweek 10]

Six Matchweek 10 fixtures in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE were played on 10 October, with Omiya moving provisionally top after beating Hachinohe.
Omiya maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 home victory over Hachinohe. Yusei Ozaki opened the scoring in the 45th minute before Ryuya Nishio doubled the lead in the 56th. Hachinohe pulled one back, but Carlinhos Junior added a third in the 68th minute to seal the win and send Omiya provisionally top.
Imabari won 2-1 away to Tokushima through goals from Edigar Junio and Rei Umeki. Oita also claimed a 2-1 away victory, with Manato Kimoto striking the winner in the 89th minute against Yokohama FC.
Tosu returned to winning ways with a dramatic 1-0 home victory over Fujieda. The match remained goalless until the fifth minute of stoppage time, when Haruya Goto struck the winner to give Tosu their first win in five matches.
Kofu also ended a four-match losing run with a 2-1 victory over Tochigi City. After falling behind, Yamato Naito equalised in the 18th minute before Hiroya Sueki completed the turnaround seven minutes later. The win lifted Kofu off the bottom of the table.
Iwata edged Sapporo 1-0 at home, with Iago Teles scoring the only goal in the 42nd minute. The result ended Iwata's three-match losing run, while Sapporo slipped to the bottom of the standings.
