Fukushima United FC have announced that goalkeeper Tomoki Ueda has welcomed his first child, a daughter.
Ueda commented through the club:
“I'm delighted to announce the birth of our first child, a baby girl. Words can't describe the joy and happiness I feel at welcoming a new life into our family. Above all, I'm incredibly grateful to my wife for everything she went through to bring our healthy baby into the world. I know pregnancy and childbirth came with many worries and challenges, and I have nothing but admiration for her strength and all that she's done. I'm so happy that both mother and baby are doing well.
“Now that I'm a father, I want to take on that responsibility, put my family first and work together with my wife to build a happy, loving home. I'll draw strength from this new chapter in our lives and keep working hard to grow as a footballer. Thank you for your continued support!”
