Partnership Agreement with Malaysia Super League

The Public Interest Incorporated Association of the Japan Professional Football League(J.League) is pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with Malaysia Super League on 2nd  February 2015.

 

This is the eighth partnership agreement with a foreign professional league for the J.League, after the ones with Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia and Iran.

 

The J.League will use this agreement as a jump-start and will work cooperatively with the Malaysia Super League in communication, marketing, tournament operation, academy, etc. in order to develop football even more in both countries. We also aim to increase the quality and efficiency in both the professional league organisation and the management.

 

Signed Date:2nd February 2015

Press conference is scheduled around June this year in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

Contents of Partnership Agreement

1.To exchange necessary information for development of competition level of football leagues of Malaysia and Japan;

2.To share know-how and host seminars concerning professional league and club management, especially in marketing fields;

3.To conduct exchange, observation and training programmes for coaches, referees, players, physical training, medical care, competition management, academies and marketing;

4.To host friendly matches between clubs of Malaysia Super League, Premier League and J. LEAGUE;

5.To host competitions, friendly matches and joint training camps for youth ages;

6.To create and promote opportunities for Malaysian players to join in J. LEAGUE clubs and Japanese players in Malaysia Super League and Premier League clubs;

7.To provide support to J. LEAGUE to be able to broadcast the matches and gain more media exposure in Malaysia and vice versa;

8.To promote Malaysia Super League, Premier League and J.LEAGUE clubs to communicate and produce partnership between;

9.To host football clinics and seminars for children in Malaysia;

10.To conduct CSR (cooperate social responsibility) activities in Malaysia;

11.To share expertise on anti-corruption and/or match fixing initiatives;
