J.League International Series Meiji Yasuda J.League World Challenge 2017 Requests Regarding Rules and Manners for Spectators (Saturday, July 15th Urawa Reds vs Borussia Dortmund)

The J.League has drawn up a list of rules and manners for spectators in order to ensure a safe and pleasant spectating environment for all at the Meiji Yasuda J.League World Challenge 2017 matches to be held on Saturday, July 15th and Saturday, July 22nd.

All spectators attending these matches are respectfully requested to understand and cooperate strictly with these stipulations, as laid out below:

【Spectating Manners】
●Prohibited items in the stadium
・Fireworks, bangers, smoke canisters, gas horns etc.
・Bottles and cans. Cups for transferring the contents will be available at the entrance gates.
・Pets (not including guide dogs for the visually disabled and hard of hearing)
・Spectators are kindly asked to cooperate with the baggage inspection at the gates.

●Spectating manners
・Banners may only be displayed for the purpose of supporting the teams or players (and not for purposes of slander etc.)
・Banners may only be displayed in the designation positions so as not to obstruct the viewing or conducting of the match.

● Rules for preventing obstruction to the match
・Never throw anything onto the field.
・Never enter the field.
・The throwing of confetti and paper tape is prohibited.
・The throwing of toilet paper is prohibited.
・The use of whistles and sirens for loudspeakers etc. is prohibited.

●Consideration for other spectators
・ Do not stand in the seats, passageways or on the steps, or open an umbrella, while supporting or spectating.
・Do not place baggage in the passageways while supporting or spectating. Be sure to keep the passageways clear for safety purposes.
・Smoking (including electronic and smokeless cigarettes) is prohibited in the spectating areas. Please use the designated smoking areas.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the stadium at half time or after the match.
●Discriminatory and insulting language and behaviour are strictly forbidden, including with regard to race, skin colour, sex, language, religion, politics and place of origin.

※ The J.League will organise the match according to the Rules of Match Management, including the above. Any person who infringes on the list of prohibited items or behaviours or behaves in such as manner as to compromise stadium security may be removed from the stadium and subjected to future stadium bans etc. Everybody’s understanding and cooperation in this regard is respectfully requested.

【Rules Concerning the Display of Banners】
・Areas designated for the display of banners are indicated on the stadium map below.
(Detailed procedures for bringing banners into the stands in advance and their display will be announced at a later date.)
・Supporter banners may not be displayed in areas used for official tournament displays.
・Banners for the opposing team may not be displayed in the free seating areas behind the goals.
・Banners must not obstruct the passageways, steps or seating.
・Banners may not be used beneath the electronic screens.
・Banners must not obstruct the view of gate numbers or emergency lighting in the main or back stands. Banners must not obstruct emergency lighting behind the goals.
・Banners may not be attached to the fixed ring bolts in the stadium. Please prepare sticky tape etc.
・Please follow the instructions of officials and security staff on the day.

※Blue zones for the banners of either club
