J1 League Standings

*In-play standings are provisional until match reports are released.
*During the season, standings are shown based on points, goal difference, and goals scored. After the league season has ended, the annual standings will be updated considering these factors and any other relevant criteria.
*For the AFC Champions League Elite (ACLE) 2024/25, three clubs (J1 Champions, EMPEROR'S CUP Champions, and J1 Runners-up) will qualify directly for the main tournament. For the AFC Champions League Two (ACL2) 2024/25, one club (J1 3rd-place) will qualify directly for the main tournament. If a club qualifies for multiple spots, the vacant spot will be awarded to the next highest-ranked club in the J1 League.
*If a J.League club wins the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2023/24, the ACL 2023/24 Champions, J1 Champions, and EMPEROR'S CUP Champions will qualify directly for the ACLE 2024/25 main tournament, while the J1 Runners-up will enter the ACL2 main tournament (in this case, the J1 3rd-placed club will not qualify).
*The bottom club in the J1 final standings will be relegated to J2. Regarding promotion, the top two clubs in the J2 final standings will be automatically promoted to J1, along with the winner of the J1 Promotion Play-offs, which is contested by the J2 clubs ranked 3rd to 6th.
