Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences DF Ikedo Set to Join Fagiano Okayama in 2027/28 Season

Fagiano Okayama have announced that defender Shu Ikedo of Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences will join the club for the 2027/28 season (January 2028).
Ikedo, who hails from Osaka Prefecture, commented:
"First of all, I would like to thank Coach Matsuo, my seniors and my friends at university for all the advice and support they gave me in making this decision. I am also deeply grateful to my father, mother and brother, who have always supported me throughout my life.
Fagiano Okayama is a club with strong ties to the local community, and seeing the club, players and supporters fight as one made me want to play here even more. I want to achieve great things at this wonderful club, grow together with the supporters and become a player who can share victories and joy with everyone. I can't wait for the day I step onto the pitch at JFE Harenokuni Stadium. Until then, I'll keep giving my all every day to make that day come as soon as possible.
