Sanfrecce Hiroshima have announced that midfielder Taishi Matsumoto and his wife have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
Matsumoto commented through the club:
"I would like to share the personal news that my first child has been born. I am grateful to my wife, who went through so much during her pregnancy and childbirth, and to our son, who arrived healthy. As the head of our family, I will continue to work even harder both on and off the pitch."
