Avispa Fukuoka have announced that defender Takumi Kamijima will serve as captain for the 2026/27 season. The club have also named midfielders Tomoya Miki, Yuji Kitajima and Keiya Shiihashi, along with defender Yu Hashimoto, as vice-captains.
Following the announcement, Kamijima commented:
"I have been given the honour of serving as team captain this season. I will earn your trust through both my performances and my conduct and do my utmost to prove myself worthy of leading this proud club. I am committed to contributing to the team's success and continued growth and will continue to work tirelessly to live up to everyone's expectations. Thank you for your passionate support."
