Mito Hollyhock have announced that forward Arata Watanabe will serve as captain for the 2026/27 season. The club have also named defenders Takahiro Iida, Yasuki Kimoto and Kenta Itakura, along with midfielder Yoshiki Torikai, as vice-captains.
Following the announcement, Watanabe commented:
"I am honoured to serve as captain this season. We will fight together as one to achieve our goals. I will do everything I can to help the team by making the most of my experience and the qualities I bring."
