Yokohama F. Marinos have announced that midfielder Takuya Kida will serve as club captain for the 2026/27 season. The club have also named midfielder Jun Amano as team captain and forward Ryo Miyaichi as vice-captain.
Following the announcement, Kida commented:
"I will continue to face the team, my teammates and myself every single day, no matter the circumstances, as I strive to grow into both the player and the person worthy of serving as club captain of Yokohama F.
