Cerezo Osaka have announced that defender Niko Takahashi has joined Holstein Kiel of Germany on loan. The loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027.
Takahashi returned to Cerezo Osaka this season and has made one appearance in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE.
Following the announcement, Takahashi commented:
“I have decided to join Holstein Kiel in Germany. First of all, I would like to thank Cerezo Osaka for respecting and understanding my wishes. I feel sorry for the fans and supporters who have been cheering me on, especially as this decision comes just after the start of the new season. I will give my all overseas and continue working hard so that I can show everyone how much I have grown.”
