The J.League will present the KONAMI Monthly MVP, Goal of the Month, Manager of the Month, Young Player of the Month and Save of the Month awards for the 2026/27 MEIJI YASUDA J1, J2 and J3 leagues.
The awards will be selected and announced by the Monthly Awards Selection Committee, with J.League Football Director Osamu Adachi serving as chair for the MEIJI YASUDA J1 and J3 leagues and J.League Director of Strategic Planning Yuzo Kobayashi serving as chair for the MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE. The committee comprises representatives from the JFA, former J.League players, football journalists and others.
The same 15 members who served on the committee during the 2026 Special Season will continue in their roles this season and will also help raise awareness of and generate interest in the monthly awards through various promotional activities.

■ Selection Method
Committee members will vote based on reference materials including match footage and data. The Monthly Awards Selection Committee will then meet, with the chair and the JFA Technical Committee making the final decision.
■ Selection Criteria
For the eligible competitions:
・KONAMI Monthly MVP: The most outstanding player
・Goal of the Month: The player who scored the most outstanding goal
・Manager of the Month: The manager who demonstrated the most outstanding management, based on a comprehensive assessment of factors including match performance, fair play, conduct in the technical area, post-match interviews and team statistics
*New evaluation criteria have been introduced from this season.
・Young Player of the Month: A player aged 21 or under who produced memorable performances and is expected to achieve further success in the future
*Players must be aged 21 or under as of 31 December of the relevant season.
・Save of the Month: The player who made the most outstanding save
