Kashiwa hosted Nagasaki and took the lead through Yuki Kakita in the 6th minute. After falling behind, they drew level through Yoshio Koizumi in the 63rd minute before Yusuke Segawa completed the comeback in the 77th minute. Kenshin Yuba added a fourth in the 83rd minute to seal a 4-2 victory and make it three wins from three to start the season.

FC Tokyo faced Chiba at MUFG National Stadium and broke the deadlock through Takahiro Ko in the 72nd minute. Soma Anzai added a second in the 85th minute to seal a 2-0 victory and FC Tokyo's first win of the season. Chiba, meanwhile, suffered their third straight defeat to start the season.
