Ryukyu Return to Winning Ways to Climb to Seventh! Kitakyushu Remain Winless After Five [Summary: MEIJI YASUDA J3 Matchweek 1]

The postponed Matchweek 1 fixture between Ryukyu and Kitakyushu in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE was played on 9 September.
 
After a goalless first half, Ryukyu took the lead through Yuma Kato in the 52nd minute. Taiga Ishiura doubled their advantage in the 77th before Yosuke Ueno added a third in the 89th minute to seal a comfortable 3-0 victory.
 
Ryukyu returned to winning ways and climbed to seventh, while Kitakyushu remain winless after their opening five matches.
