Sanfrecce Hiroshima have announced that defender Taichi Yamasaki has suffered an injury.
Yamasaki sustained the injury during the Emperor's Cup second-round fixture against Okinawa SV on 26 August and underwent surgery at a hospital in Hiroshima City on 8 September. He is expected to be sidelined for approximately 10 months.
