JEF United Chiba have announced that defender Takahiro Iida has suffered an injury.
Iida sustained the injury during the 2026/27 J.League Yamazaki Biscuits Levain Cup 1st Round – Round 1 fixture against Kamatamare Sanuki on 9 September and has been diagnosed with a left biceps femoris muscle strain. He is expected to require approximately six to eight weeks to recover.
