V-Varen Nagasaki have announced the signing of midfielder Asahi Masuyama from FC Machida Zelvia on loan. The loan deal runs until 30 June 2027, and he will be ineligible to play against Machida in any official matches during the loan spell.
Masuyama was with Nagasaki until 2025 and returns to the club after a year away.
Upon joining the club, Masuyama commented:
“I’ll be returning to V-Varen Nagasaki after a year away. I’m grateful to have another opportunity to play for this club, which gave me such a warm send-off even though I left at an important time. I’m also grateful that the club reached out to me again when things weren’t going well and I was struggling. To repay that kindness, I’ll give everything I have and fight to deliver results.
