Ten Matchweek 8 fixtures in the MEIJI YASUDA J3 LEAGUE were played on 26 September.
 
Kagoshima fell behind away to Kitakyushu in the 63rd minute, but Juanma Delgado equalised in the 87th to earn a 1-1 draw. They remain unbeaten this season and stay top of the table.
 
Ehime took the lead away to Ryukyu through Shota Tamura in the 61st minute, but Yushin Koki equalised in the 90+2nd minute as the match ended 1-1. FC Osaka cruised to a 4-0 victory over Kochi, with Shunsuke Tachino among the scorers.
 
Nara beat Shiga 4-1 at home, with Sora Mochizuki scoring twice. Yamaguchi fell two goals behind at home to Sagamihara, with Kai Sasaki scoring both in the first half, but Shunsuke Yamamoto struck twice after the break to rescue a 2-2 draw.
 
Kanazawa cruised to a 4-1 victory over Tottori, with Shintaro Shimada among the scorers. Fukushima edged Nagano 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, with Yuki Okada striking the winner in the 90th minute.
 
Kumamoto edged Gunma 1-0 away from home thanks to Yuto Katori’s 71st-minute winner. Hayato Kanda scored a hat-trick as Gifu beat Sanuki 4-3.
 
Matsumoto took the lead away to Tochigi SC through an own goal in the 36th minute. Tochigi SC equalised in the 74th, but Daiki Higuchi struck a dramatic winner in the 90+4th minute to seal a 2-1 victory and Matsumoto’s first win of the season.
