Giravanz Kitakyushu on Monday announced the arrival of veteran goalkeeper Norihiro Yamagishi on a season-long loan from Montedio Yamagata.
The 38-year-old, who spent the majority of his career with Urawa Reds beginning in 2001, made 41 appearances for Montedio in last season’s MEIJI YASUDA J2 League.
“I’m grateful for a new opportunity and excited to help Giravanz earn promotion in one season and contribute to many victories for our team,” Yamagishi commented.
“I look forward to celebrating with our supporters at our new stadium.”
