Kobe Make It Three Wins from Three; Kashiwa Held to Goalless Draw by Ratchaburi [Summary: ACL Elite League Stage MD3]

Matchday 3 of the AFC Champions League Elite League Stage continued on 27 October, with Kobe claiming their third consecutive victory.
 
Kobe secured a 1-0 away win over Daejeon Hana Citizen FC of Korea Republic thanks to an 83rd-minute winner from Ren Komatsu. The victory maintained their perfect start to the competition and sent them provisionally top of the table.
 
Kyoto came from two goals down to claim an emphatic 5-2 home victory over Newcastle Jets FC of Australia. Hisashi Appiah Tawiah pulled one back just before half-time before Marco Tulio equalised in the 56th minute and struck again four minutes later to put Kyoto ahead. Rafael Elias and Alex Souza added two more goals to complete the comeback.
 
Kashiwa were held to a goalless draw away to Ratchaburi FC of Thailand despite creating chances, with neither side able to find a breakthrough.
