Sagan Tosu on Thursday announced that 19-year-old goalkeeper Takumi Nagaishi has been approved as a Type II Player by the J.League and Japan Football Association.
The Fukuoka University student represented Japan’s Under-17 national team in 2013 and will wear the No. 34 at his new club.
Sagan introduced Nagaishi as a hot prospect with a wide range of skills who particularly excels at shot-stopping and one-on-one situations.
The outfit went on to praise the teenager’s imposing physique, leadership abilities and potential to develop into an excellent first-team player in future.
