Kashima Stadium will be the venue of an ongoing “Stadium Beer Garden” event between July 31 and September 5, Kashima Antlers announced on Thursday.
The beer garden will be open every Thursday through to Saturday, with the exception of Antlers’ home games.
Performances by local amateur bands and public viewings of away games are also being planned.
The stadium was opened in 1993 and expanded to seat a 40,000 capacity crowd in time for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where it was the venue for three matches.
