Meiji University midfielder Yuto Sashinami has tentatively agreed to join Vegalta Sendai next season, the club confirmed on Friday.
“I’m incredibly happy that my dream of becoming a professional player has come true,” the 22-year-old commented through Vegalta’s official website.
“I’m grateful to my family, coaches, and teammates. I want to work hard and continue to improve.”
Sashinami, who is in his senior year, was a candidate to represent Japan’s Under-19 national team in 2012.
