FC Tokyo confirmed that they mutually parted with striker Lassad Nouioui on Saturday.
The former Tunisia international only joined the club in early May and made a total of four appearances in all competition for Massimo Ficcadenti’s side, playing 158 minutes.
“It was only for a short period of time but thank you for allowing me to join the FC Tokyo family,” Nouioui commented.
“Unfortunately, both encounters and farewells are a part of football. I hope Tokyo will continue to have a great season. Thank you for your support.”
The capital club enjoyed an excellent first half of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League, finishing the first stage second in the standings.
