Kashiwa Reysol revealed last Thursday that goalkeeper and club stalwart Takanori Sugeno has gotten married.
“I got married the other day,” Sugeno said in a statement issued through the club.
“But as always I want to work hard to earn a victory for my team, to help myself improve, and to appreciate the important things in my life.”
The Saitama-native has been at Reysol since 2008, making nearly 300 appearances for the club in all competitions since.
Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Shimizu S-Pulse was Sugeno’s second clean sheet of the 2015 J.League season.
