The J.League’s board of directors have decided to throw their official support behind the eighth annual Gamba Osaka Scambio Cup.
The futsal tournament will run from 09:00 to 17:00 JST on October 25, with a turnout of up to 200 - including staff - expected at the Osaka University venue.
The Scambio Cup is open to participants with mental illnesses, allowing them a chance to participate in social activities and interact with players from other regions of Japan.
Through these efforts, the organisers hope to eliminate prejudices toward mental illnesses.
