Vissel Kobe announced defender So Fujitani has been called up by the Japan Under-18 national team for their upcoming training camp in England.
The U-18s will train with academy sides from Birmingham and Liverpool, before facing England’s U-18s in a friendly on November 15.
Fujitani, currently registered as a Vissel Type II player, has made three MEIJI YASUDA J1 League appearances for Nelsinho’s men this season.
The Yamazaki Nabisco Cup quarter-finalists will host relegation-battlers Matsumoto Yamaga this Saturday.
