Mito Hollyhock on Monday announced the tentative signing of Vietnam’s Messi, Nguyen Cong Phuong, on a one-year loan.
The HAGL FC striker will officially join the club following a signing ceremony on December 23 in Vietnam.
"I'm incredibly happy and excited to have become a member of Mito Hollyhock”, the player known as the Vietnamese Messi said.
“I am grateful to the club for giving me a chance to play. Playing in a high-level competition such as the J.League will be a valuable experience for my career.”
The 20-year-old will provide Hollyhock with a serious boost in firepower, as they aim for promotion to the top-flight next season.
