Kawasaki Frontale on Thursday announced that defender Yuto Takeoka will require six to eight weeks to recover from a torn right calf muscle.
The injury was sustained in a February 11 training match against Mito Hollyhock.
The 29-year-old is in his third year at Frontale, having scored one goal in 30 appearances in the 2015 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season.
