Yohei Toyoda’s eighth-minute header for Sagan Tosu against Avispa Fukuoka has been named the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League Goal of the Month for February.
The striker was praised by judges for his skilful goal, which came from teammate Yutaka Yoshida’s cross.
Nagoya Grampus’ Robin Simovic and Kashima Antlers’ Yuma Suzuki were amongst the nominees for the award.
