Yokohama F. Marinos have removed striker Rafinha from their list of registered players, the club announced on Friday.
The decision was made as the 28-year-old continues to receive treatment for his injured right knee in Brazil.
As a result, team officials have been unable to assess when he will be able to return to action.
Marinos, who recently announced the signing of striker Kayke pending a medical check, host Albirex Niigata on Saturday in the third round of the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League.
