Shimizu S-Pulse midfielder Takuya Honda will miss six weeks of play after injuring his right knee in practice on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old, who is currently playing in his ninth J.League season, has 12 appearances so far in the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League campaign.
S-Pulse are currently in ninth place with 22 points from 15 matches.
